Please explain Medicare Part B and diabetic testing supplies?

If you have Medicare Part B, you are covered for various diabetic supplies. This is true whether you have type 1 diabetes (taking insulin) or type 2 diabetes (not taking insulin). Medicare Part B covers the same supplies for people with diabetes whether or not you use insulin. Again, this coverage will pay for a glucose-testing monitor, blood glucose test strips, lancing devices and lancets, and glucose control solutions. The amount of diabetic supplies are set by your doctor's recommendation on how many times per day he would like you to monitor your blood glucose levels. That is to say, you are eligible to receive as many supplies as your doctor deems medically necessary.

What type / brand of Diabetic Testing Supplies does MedEnvíos provide?

MedEnvíos supplies its customers with the latest technology for testing your blood sugar from US Diagnostics. As a new patient you will automatically receive a brand new meter, control solution and battery along with your first order of supplies. Our meter allows you to test in alternate sites like your forearm, thigh, calf or even the palm of your hand. The results are returned in just five seconds, and requires just a minimum amount of blood.
